This hotel is very well presented with rooms that have lovey fixtures and fittings. Our dining experience was very good and enjoyed all the food that was served to us.

We will definitely be returning.

The outside of the venue looked smart , but the village is a bit odd, it looks like it has been totally taken over and resembles a holiday resort , rather than a Northumbrian Village.

The inside of The Apple Inn just has no atmosphere , it's a big souless dining room. There was a screen placed at the end of the dining area , with piles of chairs just dumped , just a general lack of attention to detail and first impressions. The food was average but nothing more . I've no doubt it is busy with people staying in the multitude of Caravans, Huts and Cottages. Honestly it's not worth driving to , there are lots of other great local pubs that do a far better job !
